How Pacquiao will beat Mayweather

This is a re-post of the same graphic published on March 7, one week before welterweight boxing champion Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines defeated Ghanaian Joshua Clottey at the brand new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The graphic was deleted accidentally while I was editing another post.

The Filipino firebrand dominated that fight, employing his patented speed and work rate to keep Clottey in his defensive shell.

This graphic predicts that Pacquiao’s explosive, relentless attack will prevail over American Floyd Mayweather if and when they finally meet in the ring. Mayweather is a defensive marvel but, over 12 rounds of boxing, chances are he is going to get hit. And based on Pacquiao’s track record, if he hits somebody, he is likely to knock him out.

INTERACTIVE: PACQUIAO’S PATH OF DESTRUCTION

Even Marco Antonio Barrera, Mexican boxing icon – and Pacquao victim – believes Pacquiao will neutralize Mayweather’s shoulder roll. In an episode of Golpe a Golpe, an ESPN Spanish language TV sports program, Barrera demonstrates how Pacquiao will get around Mayweather’s defense and possibly take him down.

The graphic is a prediction, nothing more, nothing less.
